Saturday was my hand piecing class. So dismayed am I. We make a template of the pattern piece cut to the stitching line only. Then we make a template of the pattern with 1/4" seam allowance added.
Working with templates is difficult, to me. I usually have to remake at least one template.
Practice makes perfect and I will be a pro at templates. I promise.
